The Denver Police Department is excited to host three events during IACP 2025. These activities will showcase the city, connect attendees to vendors, and highlight the Denver Police Foundation’s mission. Advance sign-up required; this is not associated with your IACP registration.


Denver Police Foundation Chief’s Cornhole Tournament: Friday, October 17 | 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

The Denver Police Foundation is proud to present the Chief’s Cornhole Tournament. This exclusive event will take place on Friday evening at Cableland—the official residence of Denver’s mayor and one of the city’s most unique and scenic venues. The evening will bring together top law enforcement leaders, including chiefs from across the nation, for a relaxed and spirited night of friendly competition. Guests will enjoy a memorable experience filled with yard games, networking, and community—all set against the backdrop of one of Denver’s most iconic properties. More than just a tournament, this event offers a meaningful opportunity to connect, collaborate, and advance the mission of the Denver Police Foundation in supporting those who serve and protect our city.


Chief’s Charity Golf Tournament: Sunday, October 19 | 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The Chief’s Charity Golf Tournament will take place on Sunday morning with an 8:30 AM shotgun start. Set at the iconic Arrowhead Golf Club, this tournament offers participants a world-class golfing experience amid the breathtaking red sandstone formations and pristine fairways of Colorado’s Rocky Mountain foothills. Known for its exceptional amenities and dramatic natural beauty, Arrowhead provides an ideal setting for a day of camaraderie, community engagement, and charitable support for those who serve and protect.


5K Fun Run: Monday, October 20 | 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

The 5K Fun Run will take place in the heart of downtown Denver’s City Park. This signature event invites public safety professionals, supporters, and community members to start their day with purpose, connection, and movement. Participants will enjoy a scenic route through Denver’s civic and cultural core—surrounded by historic architecture and sweeping mountain views—while promoting wellness, unity, and a shared commitment to service. Whether you’re racing toward a personal goal or walking with friends and colleagues, the 5K Fun Run offers a memorable way to experience the spirit and hospitality of the Mile High City.
