Call for Proposals

The IACP 2026 call for proposals will open in January 2026.

Each year, the IACP looks for a wide array of topics that are engaging, inspiring, and informative for police executives around the world. The IACP’s goal is to offer relevant, timely education to help attendees do their jobs more effectively and make their agencies more successful. Conference attendees find value in evidence-based practices, case studies, or lessons learned from new and innovative strategies in policing. Proposals should address contemporary or emerging ideas and concepts to elevate the profession and help grow leaders of agencies worldwide. Some topic examples include:

  • Community-Police Engagement
  • Emerging Technology and Innovations in Policing
  • Intersection of Public Health and Public Safety
  • Officer Safety and Wellness
  • Organizational Culture and Leadership
  • Recruitment, Hiring, Retention, and Training
  • Violent Crime, High-Profile Events, and Critical Incidents
