Beware of Unofficial Contractors
IACP does not sell your company contact information. However, due to the fact that your company information is available through the website, there are some unauthorized contractors that will capture and use this information. These contractors will often use the IACP name to “remind you” that you haven’t ordered a specific service, offer to help you find housing or sell you an attendee list. While exhibitors have the ability to use outside contractors for non-exclusive services, please beware of added costs (such as material handling) that you may incur by not using an authorized contractor. Please research any vendors which are not listed below and avoid making any “quick” decisions if pressured. Those that we are aware of currently targeting exhibitors are:
- Opt-In E-Mail Data Providers Across the Globe
- Conference Merit
- Quest Leads
If you receive a solicitation and are unsure whether or not it is legitimate, please contact your IACP Exhibitor Services Team at 1-800-843-4227

Don’t be Scammed by Third Party Housing Companies
onPeak is IACP’s official housing partner. Please beware of other companies soliciting hotel room “deals” over the dates of the IACP Conference. Third party housing companies typically offer a lower rate than the official block rate. With that, room reservations may be offered at significantly lower quality. In other circumstances, cancellation polices are often harsh and unforgiving.
onPeak is the exclusive housing coordinator for IACP 2018; all others are not affiliated with IACP. Use onPeak to receive the lowest rate, no deposits, the ability to make changes up until the time of your arrival and customer service representatives available every day.
Recently, IACP has been notified that an unauthorized company has contacted exhibitors urging them to make hotel reservations with their group. If you receive a solicitation and are unsure whether or not it is legitimate, please contact Lena Timmons at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“Free” Show Guide Listings
FAIR Guide (by Construct Data Publishers Verlag AG)
Expo-Guide (by Commercial Online Manuals)
Please be advised that both of the above are known to solicit IACP exhibitors with deceptive and misleading solicitations to make exhibitors believe that they are updating or purchasing space in the IACP Official On-site Guide. IACP does not endorse or associate with either of the above, and they are using the IACP name without authorization. Your online exhibitor listing in IACP’s Official Conference Program and Exposition Hall Guide is included in your booth cost.
Both scams use misleading language suggesting a “free” listing. However, by signing the form, you are entering into a three-year, irrevocable agreement requiring you to pay a significant amount of money with no foreseeable benefits.
