Opening Ceremony

11th Annual IACP Foundation Gala

Join us Saturday evening, October 21 as we announce the 2017 IACP/Target Police Officer of the Year Award Finalists and honor officers critically injured in the line of duty. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Join us at this festive event featuring a short ribbon cutting ceremony, and then make your way into the resource-filled Exposition Hall to see what’s new and discover solutions for a safer society.

General Assembly and Uniform Day

The General Assembly will feature major announcements, keynote addresses from top law enforcement officials from around the world, and will honor the Police Officer of the Year award winner.

Uniform Day celebrates the association’s diversity and internationalism by creating a spectacular visual display of uniforms from around the world. Participants are asked to wear their department’s uniform on Monday, October 23—the cap or hat is optional and wearing firearms and other weapons is discouraged for security reasons.

Chiefs Night

Join your friends and colleagues at the Philly-Octoberfest Chiefs Night reception! Come to enjoy the multi-venue family friendly festival. Graze your way through over 35 food merchant stands at Historic Reading Terminal Market, learn about local brews or shoot some hoops at Field House, kick up your heels on Filbert Street, and enjoy some friendly competition with interactive games and contests in the Grand Hall of the Pennsylvania Convention Center! Wander through these connected spaces and enjoy the great variety of food, drinks, and activities- come for the food, stay for the friends!

Annual Banquet

Join us for the IACP Annual Banquet featuring the formal swearing-in of the president and board of officers. For the first time, IACP will present the IACP Leadership awards during this special evening of recognition. This is a black-tie-optional event (business suits are appropriate). Guests will enjoy entertainment to include music and dancing at the conclusion of the program. Seats are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited. Individual ticket sales will open soon.
